Peer to Peer Caregiver Family Support Group

Kinship, Foster, and Adoptive families often have unique challenges and needs. The Family Support Group is a welcoming space where caregivers can connect, share experiences, and receive support from others navigating similar journeys.

Features of the Peer to Peer Caregiver Family Support Group include:

• Weekly meetings, with child care provided, every Thursday evening, 6:00-7:00  p.m.
• Monthly Respite Nights with supervised fun for children while caregivers enjoy a well-deserved break sharing a meal or doing participating in relationship building activities.
• Crisis meals for families to help lighten the stress related to new placements, medical challenges, or mental health struggles.
• Special family events that enable group members to socialize with other families in a relaxed, fun environment.
